What is the Law Enforcement Explorer Program?
Law Enforcement Exploring is a career-oriented program for young men and women, established and charted by Learning for Life Exploring.
The program provides young people the opportunity to "explore" the criminal justice system and careers in law enforcement. Through hands-on training and classroom lectures, a genuine understanding of law enforcement is gained. As a result, good character, leadership and citizenship skills are formed. Police Officers also share their knowledge and skills with interested youth through this program.
There are 40,000 young Americans across the U.S. who participate in national Law Enforcement Explorer Programs, which are organized into chapters or posts.
